Healthy Detox

It has been recommended that a person should take up deep breathing and relaxation techniques while on a detox programme, because the way one breathes is thought to affect the balance of the body and mind. If a person breathes deeply, they are likely to be able to breathe in more oxygen and may help them feel calmer and improve general health. Breathing deeply is also said to help the lungs in getting rid of waste produce and toxins.

- Alternative therapies such as acupressure, acupuncture, tai chi and reflexology have been recommended while on detox. Complementary therapies are believed to be great for rebalancing a person’s physical, emotional, mental and spiritual state whilst on a Detox schedule. So, it is said that well being is likely to be better.
