Advisable methods of cooking while detoxing

Steaming - Steaming is viewed as a great way of cooking vegetables; as vegetables are not in contact with the cooking water, so there is likely be little loss of vitamins and minerals.

Boiling – It has been recommended to boil the water before adding vegetables and to try cooking them for a short period of time. It has been suggested to drain them instantly and never leave them to soak in cooking water. A lid may be used to stop steam from escaping.
