Seafood is a description of both fish and shellfish. They feature abundant amounts of protein, minerals and are low in fat. The different types of seafood include mussels, oysters, crabs and clams.
Seafood contains high amounts of calcium, phosphorus, zinc, iron and many other minerals which are believed to be essential for the production of antioxidant enzymes, said to help combat against the effects of physical stress. Seafood’s are thought to be an excellent body building food and a great source of potassium.
