Figs
Figs contain vast amounts of fibre, in fact more per serving than any dried fruit. The fibre featured in figs is said to help in combating bowel cancer. Figs are enriched in minerals; they contain high amounts of potassium and calcium. They contain omega 3 and omega 6 essential fatty acids. It has been reported that eating figs are great for treating coughs, chest pains and asthma.
