Turnips
To benefit from its peak nutritional value it is reported to be best to eat turnips when in a raw state. They may help in promoting digestion and the cleansing of teeth. They are highly alkaline, which, it is said, helps purify the body. Turnips are packed with antioxidants and consuming them is reported to boost fertility and libido. They feature high amounts of calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, folic acid (folate) and vitamin C.
