Propolis
Propolis is said to be one of the oldest natural remedies around; in fact, it was first used over 2000 years ago. Propolis was used for treating ulcers and sores. Propolis is said to be created by bees using the resin collated from leaf buds and bark, combined with enzymes, pollen and wax. Propolis is known to be a great substance featuring anti-viral, anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and anti-fungal properties.
This bee product has been reported to be an alternative to supplementing on antibiotics. Propolis is thought to stimulate the immune system by increasing the activity of white blood cells, which may in turn help fight any infections. Propolis also contains vast amounts of bioflavonoids which are reported to keep viruses inactive by sealing them off. Propolis contains high amounts of amino acids, calcium, Vitamins B, C, and E.
