Cigarettes are smoked by some with a cigarette holder. (See also Bidi). Cigarette smoke features 60 different carcinogens, pollutants that increase the chance of cancer. A large number of artificial additives are added to cigarettes, especially to enhance taste (see List of additives in cigarettes).
